PTA President's Letter / Sept 2010

Believe it or not, the summer has come to an end and another school year is about to begin. So, on behalf of the PTA, I would like to welcome all of you back to school, with a special greeting to all the new families joining us!

First, I would like to introduce the Executive Board of the HSPTA.

As Board members, we are available to the parents of Haskell School and will try to answer any questions you may have. Our goal is to have a great year and host a variety of exciting events; such as movie night, Halloween “trunk-or-treating,” bingo and school dances, as well as Book Fair and several educational and enjoyable student assemblies.

Haskell School is a great place with wonderful kids and dedicated teachers and staff. We are hoping that as we work together as parents, we can only make it better for our children. Many of you have great ideas; I welcome hearing them and look forward to assisting you put them into action!

We are having a PTA Meet and Greet on September 14th in the Technology Room at 7pm, followed by an informal, PTA meeting. We would love it if you can attend, as we look forward to meeting you.

Be sure to check out our Website, as well as Facebook. There is quite a bit of information on both of these sites. I am also enclosing a schedule of some upcoming PTA events along with a school calendar, a lunch snack-cart price list and contact information for all PTA Officers.
